Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Behavioral Therapy Techniques

(Typically involves 8-16 treatment sessions) to address:

  • ADHD / Social & Organizational Skill Development
  • Adjustment to changes
  • Anxiety
  • Medical illness adjustment (e.g., autoimmune disease, gastroenterological conditions; asthma)
  • Depression/Withdrawal

Consultation and Liaison with Other Providers

  • Follow-up with pediatricians, tutors/learning specialists, and medical specialists
  • Coordinate with external multidisciplinary resources for comprehensive support
  • Provide trainings on a variety of parent, child and adolescent topics in the community
  • Help private schools develop or start to utilize programs that support healthy development among peers

Behavioral Pediatrics / Parent Training

(Typically ranges from 4 – 10 treatment sessions) to address:

  • Adherence to Medical Regimens
  • Graduated School Re-Entry following illness or medical procedure
  • Establishing School Accommodations / Plans
  • Self-Calming Skills
  • Sibling Rivalry
  • Sleep Difficulties
  • Establishing Routines (i.e., Bedtime and Meals)
  • Other transition difficulties
  • School-based consultation
